Two works of recycled milk packages
(Green exhibition of the earth - August, 1991 )

I showed two works for "Green exhibition of the earth" sponsored by the Package Federation of Kyushu network thinking about recycling milk packages.

The mannequin's hips with a red hand stamp on a piece of paper is the work of French teacher, Mr. Olivier, teaching me French in French-Japanese Institute of Kyushu.
I expressed that milk packages were becoming a recycled paper as if they might melt into magma of the earth.

"Love Earth!" was its name.
I cut off one milk pack diagonally. I put two divided ones onto the recycled paper. I expressed that a package was melting into the recycled paper by making it fluffy in the shape of ripple.

Now, various people have been using the expression "LOVE EARTH" in various places since I produced "LOVE EARTH" from a milk package "LOVE".
Another own work was the India-ink drawing of the recycled paper.

As for this work, Mr. Olivier said. "This work is based on Chinese traditional painting technique, and there is nothing new". He was not interested in it at all, but he praised it very well about the upper work.
