| Reuse of VHS Video cassette (Bookshelf Edition) B> FONT> | ||||
| One of my recent projects (SDGs) is the reuse of VHS video cassettes. For a long time, I've been wondering what is a useful way to recycle and reuse my many unwanted video cassettes at home. And I finally came up with one solution. It's a bookshelf. There are video cassettes from various manufacturers, but the shape is unified to 188 long sides x 104 short sides x 25 mm thick so that they can be played on different VCRs. Therefore, I thought of video cassettes as the structural material of bookshelves, and with structural mechanics in mind, I connected each video cassette vertically and horizontally to create multiple unit types. When I combined them, the VHS video cassettes were reborn as the following bookshelves. | ||||
