| I would like to make the air of the city fresh. I made a solar electric
vehicle named S-1 to reduce air pollution, because it doesn’t emit exhaust
gas. I have been researching for four years, thinking of recycling bicycles
into solar vehicles. S-1 has two front wheels and one rear wheel like the Honda's solar car, the champion of the Australia Solar Car Race. The height of S-1 is designed to be as low as possible to reduce air resistance. S-1 is made of wood so it is light, and some joints are made of steel so they are strong and can be taken apart. S-1 consists of five parts; the body, the front part, the rear part, the front and rear wheel parts, so that it can be assembled easily. Many parts of recycled bicycles are used, and the other materials are recyclable. The entire car can be recycled. |
