Process The couple of the swan had been living in the huge bird cage, "Bird's Country" , which we can see behind the canal of the left photograph. I often went to watch them in "Bird's Country" to make a robot swan. They were not friendly to other birds. As a result they were decided to be moved to the canal. These days the robot swan was just completed. Therefore the robot swan's encounter with them became the formula event for neighboring kindergarteners. Encounter However they ran away from the robot swan as soon as they looked at it. Because the robot swan had already been swimming on the canal before they entered there, they seemed to mistake the canal for the robot swan's territory. |
| Note : The robot swan with four motors was controlled by radio. Its body
was made of styrene, covered with cotton to look like its feathers. |

| Their reencounter after three months | |

They spent three months on this canal, and the place became their territory. This time they began to threaten the robot coming late with inclining their neck back to keep their territory. However, strangely, one of them returned to usual neck position when it saw the robot's five children. Just then, another swan still keeping fight pose attacked the back of the robot swan and cut its electric wire. |

Therefore the robot swan was wandering in the canal under no control. |
